From Visionary Beginnings to Global Recognition
Our origin
Dutch Dipping’s story began in 1948 when Henri Collard, a skilled engineer in Utrecht, built his first latex dipping plant for a European balloon producer. This simple batch-dipping plant was a success and laid the foundation for a growing international business. Over the years, the company expanded its expertise, supplying plants for gloves, balloons, condoms, and baby care products to customers in the USA, Mexico, South America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
Henri’s son François Collard continued the family legacy, specializing in ancillary equipment and testing machines for gloves and condoms, further broadening Dutch Dipping’s technological capabilities. The company pioneered continuous chain dipping systems, revolutionizing production processes, and introduced advanced features such as online testing and roll-up systems for medical glove and condom plants. In 2005, Dutch Dipping Products B.V. was formally established to reflect a shift from latex-only solutions to a broad range of dipping materials.
Global Know-How and Advanced Technology
Since 1991, Dutch Dipping has integrated the expertise of Pneumatic Systems, a company founded in 1958 renowned for its innovative machinery and patented processes for dipped products. This acquisition strengthened Dutch Dipping’s reputation for quality, ingenuity, and flexible solutions that meet unique customer requirements. The company designs and delivers complete production lines for a wide variety of materials, including latex, PVC, vinyl, nitrile, neoprene, silicone, and SEBS.
Dutch Dipping continues to innovate through the TARGET (Latex Applications and Technology) program, providing expert guidance on product development, process optimization, and advanced dip moulding techniques. With installations across Europe, North America, and Asia, Dutch Dipping combines Dutch engineering excellence, cutting-edge technology, and decades of experience to help manufacturers achieve efficient, reliable, and high-quality production.
